Matt, looks good down low, but blowing up high (45). Anybody else care to weigh in? Mixing will be hell - IMHO.

Agree, the 500MB are 40-50 knots. Too much for me, especially early in the season.

OK Fred
Don't usually put my weather here anymore, but today you are right the surface winds at Williams look to be only in the 15 to mid 20 range W SW however the uppers will be screaming in the 50 to mid 40 range from the SW . (good for Ken and Rich). So doubt it will be finger tip flying. Will need to watch it most of the day. Also early spring conditions will be around and thermals will have fairly sharp edges today along with a little (or more likley a lot ) of shearing if the uppers stay that strong and do go more SW and the lower surface winds stay that light .

Villa looks good with W SW flow all day. But again will have to watch the uppers some. As we have a fairly strong W flow over the state today up higher

Matt,

It was too windy for me up high. Let's keep an eye on the weather and maybe tomorrow will motivate me.
