What is it about this end of the sport that seems to cause an immediate 90% reduction in IQ when a motor is introduced into the equation?

By the sounds of the area he was flying, it didn't sound safe at all. A schoolyard. Possibly surrounded by a neighborhood? Last time I read the rules, you were not allowed to fly over any populated areas. Dude definitely wasn't playing it safe.
