you can still fly there for fun but not for profit.

once you turn it to "commercial aviation" the FAA steps in.

the problem though is visibility. I've flown my quad and other fpv and your field pf vision is very limited. that can be a big problem if you happen to fly around HG or PGs.

I do believe the FAA has just recently passed a new ruling banning fpv. I believe it states that the pilot must retain un-aided, (no binocs etc), visual with the drone. A "passenger" may use the fpv. Not sure where I saw it tho...
