Suggestions for PG flight decks?

Postby jj » Fri Apr 19, 2013 6:32 pm

Any suggestions or advice on what to avoid for PG flight decks?

Had my vario stuffed in a pocket last time and just listened to it and now I see that being able to look at it might have heled out a lot. Don't want to have a lot of fussing around with a deck but seems like it would be beneficial. Any suggestions?

Hey JJ, I have a Sol flight deck I liked a lot but don't need anymore. It has a lid that zips to cover your instruments when not in use. You are welcome to try it out and see if it works for you

Sounds great. Considering I have a SOL Spring 2 harness I guess it should fit well although I'm not sure there are any fit issues.
BTW how much would you want for it if I end up liking it?

JJ,

I have a Critter flight deck that I only use when I'm not flying in my pod harness which already has an integrated flight deck.

It's one of the best flight decks. Well made. It's a really good size, not too big not to small. "Hangs well" between the beaners. I have a distinct feeling that the SOL and the Critter are the same. Not sure.

Yeah Ed, I think Critter just rebrands the Sol. Same deck as mine I think.

JJ- a pint or two would be more than enough.

Sol used to make Critter's flight decks... I have owned both, still have a Sol for Berly to use tandem. Good stuff

2 pints, Sold! Especially with those endorsements. Now just need to coordinate. Maybe next club meeting???

Guess that is a ways off, but I won't be ready for flying Lookout with my PG for a while but I may be up there with my HG. Let me know what would work.
