Seeking volunteers for Colorado Fly Week

Postby HangDiver » Tue Aug 23, 2016 7:59 am

There's fresh snow on the Sangre De Cristos peaks! If you're coming to Colorado Fly Week and could afford a few hours here and there during your stay, we could use assistance on launch, the landing area, and for small but much needed help. Specifically we could use:

1) Launch directors/assistance to help with hang checks & wire assists;
2) Landing assistants to answer radio requests for landing conditions and help pilots move their gear off the LZ;
3) Assistance with running morning errands into town for supplies;
4) Trucks - high-clearance 4WD vehicles with low range gearing both with and without hang glider racks. Drivers will collect a $10 dollar donation from each pilot riding up to launch.

If you can help out for a few hours during your stay at CFW, give me a ring at (719) three five eight, 3 four 2 four or email me at rich at jesuroga dot com.

Thanks,
Rich J.
