1999 Colorado XC Update by Jim Yocom
There were some great flights made during the month of July.
Louis Perez flew 50+ miles from Walden past Laramie Wyoming. Unfortunately for Louis, he did not join the contest this year! Dave Niemeyer flew from Lookout Mtn to Boulder and back! Dave Niemeyer wins the month with his 42 point dogleg to Boulder (he did not quite complete the out and return). Great Flight Dave! This is also the best scoring flight from Lookout so far this year!
Don Sebastian now has his Millenium and on his first flight from Walden was able to fly 27 miles north into Wyoming before virga and overdevelopment stopped his progress. Nice flight Don! I'm sure we will see many more on the awesome Don / Millenium duo!
