Parachute Repack Clinic

The March 15th RMHGA Monthly Meeting will take place at 15401 West 9th Avenue in Golden. This is the former Golden Wings shop (Jim Yocom's current

Mark Windshiemer will be utilizing his considerable parachute repacking skills to help us test and repack our reserve parachutes. With spring flying upon us, be sure you know how to deploy your parachute and
have practiced actually throwing it. Your parachute should be repacked a minimum of once each season.

Mark will be available starting about 3pm until
we finish. Cost is $25 per parachute

RMHGA Landing Clinic

March 11th (March 12th for a rain day) is the RMHGA Landing Clinic at Yankee Field in Fort Collins. Instructors Mark Windshiemer, Bruce Gudarian and James Trujillo will be helping hanglider pilots improve their landing skills.

Aerotows to 1,00 feet and scooter tows are only $5. No previous tow experience is required to scooter tow!.

This is election month for the RMHGA. Ballots will be available at the parachute clinic and on-line at rmhga.org.

Paragliding Clinic

A Cross Country Towing Clinic with Chris Santacroce and Granger Banks is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, May 12-14. It will be held in the flat lands in NE Colorado.

2 scooter tows, 2 payout rigs and retrevial vehicles will be available. A P3 rating is required; towing instruction will be provided. An XC task will be called each day for 5 to 20 miles. Breakfast and XC technique discussions each day. Demo the latest Gin, Firebird, and Ozone gliders. Cost for the 3 day clinic is $350.
